Dave has been developing database applications for over 30 years. A Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2001, he has taught many classes from Intro to Programming to Advanced SharePoint Development. Dave is a seven time Microsoft MVP and runs three user groups, MAD SharePoint, www.madsharepoint.com, the Mid Atlantic Cybersecurity Experts MeetUp, www.meetup.com/MACEME, and the Baltimore Cloud Meetup, www.meetup.com/Baltimore-Cloud.
Dave does SharePoint training and application development for DSA, Inc., a DoD contractor that does great work for the U.S. Army over at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Dave has a bunch of certifications, including MCSD App Builder, MSCE for SharePoint, and MCSA SQL Server certification.
In his spare time, Dave teaches as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland College Park's iSchool, Towson University and Stevenson University.

Past notable projects include transformation of a hundred-year-old national non-profit from file share silos to a thriving M365 implementation featuring Teams across five offices, the implementation of M365 for an international NGO with thousands of users across 19 countries in Asia, the development of a revenue recognition system built on Dataverse and Power Apps to handle hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, and a document management solution for a legal organization with thousands of attorneys across the five boroughs of New York.
I began my digital career in web development and moved on to be a SharePoint administrator and developer, a Knowledge Management practitioner, Business Analyst and Project Manager, and Product Manager. Over my career I have worked in multiple business verticals including accounting, publishing, SEO and digital creative firms, drug development, health advocacy, not-for-profit organizations, education and consulting. I founded and lead a successful tech consultancy, specializing in digital transformation for International Development organizations.
